Today we are going to see how to get notified when your article is indexed by Google. Yes, this feature is provided by Google but I think most people are not aware of it.
The advantage of this is that you will receive an email from Google once the post is indexed on Google. You don’t have to manually search Google with the post titles or keywords or even have to go to the Google search console to check whether the post is indexed or not. Google will only notify you of the article when it is indexed. Below is a screenshot of Google notifying you via email.
It is a very simple process in that you can create as many alerts as you want for your website. So let’s start the process of adding alerts to your blog.
Get notified when your article is indexed by Google
So please follow the below steps carefully and fully understand and add your site to the alert list to receive notifications.
Step 1:- Click and go to the URL given here, this is the URL of the google alert page to create an alert https://www.google.com/alerts.

Step 2:- After that create an alert about the given “site:yourdomain.com” code… paste your site URL like this given in it.

Step 3:- Now click on the show option beside create alert button. A dropdown will open.
Step 4:- Now select all the options as per your requirement. I would suggest my settings as below. Click on it and change it as given below.
- How often: As-it-happens
- Sources: Automatic
- Language: English
- Region: Any Reg
- How Many: All results
- Deliver to: yourmail@gmail.com

Step 5:- After completing the above steps Now you can click on Create Alert button.

Finally, you have completed all the steps and created an alert for your blog. Now next time you write any blog post and when it will get indexed you will be notified.
